You get the same stations either way: Moisture or Moisture + Salinity, with Deep roots and a rain gauge as options. Applying for an equipment grant? Buying is usually what qualifies, so check your scheme's rules. Both come with the 60-day risk-free trial.

Hardware & setup
No. The datalogger runs on solar power and sends data over the mobile network (NB-IoT/LTE-M, with 2G fallback). No Wi-Fi, gateway or cables needed.
Two depths as standard. With Deep roots, every station gets a third, deeper sensor for deep-rooted crops, whether you rent or buy. Need something else? Contact us for a custom setup.
