Calabria's SRD01 "mechanisation investments" call funds precision-ag and 4.0 machinery and equipment. SoilSense — IoT field sensors plus decision-support (DSS) software — is an eligible item and scores in the selection criteria as technical and management innovation through digital technology.
1 · Precision machinery & equipment — your part
New machinery and equipment for the agricultural production cycle: ISOBUS-equipped vehicles, automatic or assisted guidance, variable rate (VRT), robots, drones and precision equipment that cut pesticides and fertilisers. Minimum eligible spend €25,000; per-operation ceiling from €100,000 to €500,000 depending on the farm's Standard Output.
2 · IoT field sensors + digital DSS — SoilSense
SoilSense falls among the call's eligible digital equipment (§9.2): IoT sensors for collecting, managing and monitoring in-field data, plus decision-support (DSS) software. The probe and alerts guide agronomic decisions and score as technical and management innovation through digital technology.
SoilSense is an eligible item in its own right (digital equipment / DSS, §9.2) and contributes to the selection score: innovation through digital technology (principle P01) and environmental sustainability through reduced inputs (principle P07). The minimum score for access is 30 points. Pair it with the precision machinery and equipment investment.
